Festival Durham
A fun-filled calendar promoting Durham as one of the UK's premier cultural destinations. It will restore Durham's position as an historic meeting place by creating new festivals and developing existing ones to form four seasons of activity that will encourage people to come here. Events include Lumiere, November's light festival, Brass, Durham Book Festival and the Durham Mysteries, a revival of Durham's medieval plays.
