“The majority of the paintings in this exhibition have evolved over the last five years, since my move to the North East. Initially my aim was to celebrate the seasonal, changing marks and colours on the landscape. Now, some of the work has become more map-like and the paintings are quilts or magical aerial views, which make links between places and memories.”
