Peace & Tranquility Week: Day at Ushaw College

Ushaw College is the seminary in the North East of England for the training of Catholic priests. Founded in the north east of France in 1568, it has occupied its present site 4 miles west of Durham since 1808.

Peace & Tranquillity at Ushaw College will include Tai Chi in the grounds, ambient and choral music in the college's stunning St Cuthbert's Chapel and a Catholic Mass. With stunning Grade I architecture the college is one of Durham's most remarkable hidden gems - a place of peace and spiritual tranquillity for over 200 years.
