Mysteries - Singers wanted for Community Opera

Can you hold a note? Organisers of the Durham Mysteries are looking for singers to take part in a new production set to be performed at Durham Cathedral.

Community Opera ‘The Fall of Creation’ is one of ten specially commissioned plays which will make up Durham Mysteries, an exciting contemporary revival of a traditional mystery play cycle, taking place from 27 – 29 May 2010.

 

Organisers are calling for singers of all ages and abilities to get involved by joining the ‘Creation Chorus,’ a large scale choir made up of amateur singers at all levels of experience, along with schools and already established choirs from across the region.

People interested in getting involved can come along to a taster singing workshop taking place on March 16 from 6pm til 8pm at Gala Theatre Studio. To get involved please register, by emailing mysteries@galadurham.co.uk
