Celebrating the extraordinary life of Britain’s best loved comic. From humble beginnings as a child-performer to the glitz and glamour of international stardom, the show follows young Eric’s eventful journey from Morecambe Pier to Andrew Preview. Featuring the multi-talented Bob Golding (who could have been born to play Eric), written by Tom Whitnall and directed by Guy Masterson, it’s a moving portrait of an affectionate lad with funny bones, a born entertainer, a big-hearted perfectionist… the tall one with glasses.
