Kirsty is a traveller and human scrapbook. Something of a cult figure on the UK songwriting scene, her affinity with a life of perpetual movement and a hand-to-mouth existence has made its mark on her songs, which are the soundtrack to a colourful patchwork of experience. With a pure voice and music of rich integrity and sincerity, Kirsty’s ‘vaude-billy music for the new depression era’ is augmented by the sensitive banjo and guitar playing of the band.
