Blow the Wind Southerly: Victorian music weekend

Members of the music group Concert Royal present a Victorian musical weekend, featuring popular songs from the North East. These include Bobby Shaftoe, The Keel Row and Blow the Wind Southerly, performed in period costume by soprano Margaret Ashton, accompanied by Peter Harrison, Rachel Gray and John Treherne on historic instruments. John will be playing a recently restored cabinet piano by John Waite, c1825.

Performances from 1230 to 1630 every hour, on the half hour.

Museum open daily 10.00 - 17.00 except 25 & 26 December & 1 January

Nearest train station is Darlington Station. Take A67 from Darlington to Barnard Castle.
