For over 40 years, Benny has been writing, composing and performing timeless classics - the romantic hits Heart On My Sleeve and I Wanna Stay With You (with Gallagher & Lyle); When I’m Dead & Gone (with McGuinness Flint); and How Come with Ronnie Laine. Signed by The Beatles’ Apple Publishing, his songs have been recorded by everyone from Bryan Ferry to Status Quo; and Simon & Garfunkel performed his song A Heart in New York in Central Park to an audience of half a million. With his brand new solo album Benny shows he can still produce those wish-I’d-written-that hook lines. A master craftsman at the top of his game.
