A study of the Tank Corps and the officers and men who served in it, 1916-1918 by Bryn Hammond
This talk examines the formation of the British tank arm in the midst of the greatest military conflict Britain had ever known. Focusing on the fascinating stories of the officers and men of what became the Tank Corps, this talk will illustrate how the events of the war combined with the expediency and chance in bringing together the remarkable group of men who fought in, and commanded, the first tanks.
Tickets can be bought in advance from the DLI Museum shop or by calling 0191 3842214.
