Shake that Brass!

 BRASS: Durham International Festival returns this weekend with Streets of Brass kicking things off in Durham City and InterOpera's Brass special at the Bowes Musuem. 

The festival is one of the key events in County Durham's cultural calendar.  This year the festival welcome a tremendous line up of street bands and musicians from around the globe on the streets of Durham the opening and closing weekends (July 6 & 7 and 21 & 22).

There's also a series of fantastic events at schools and community venues as well as a series of top performances from the likes of Jools Holland.

This year sees street theatre, dance, visualarts and loads of scope for participation as the festival invites you once again to shake your brass!
