Be part of Durham Talent
Added: 20/06/2012

We’re now adding to the membership of our Durham Talent pages. Durham Talent is a directory of creative practitioners in the County that you can be part of. The pages currently list more than 20 individuals and groups, offering space for an image and description of their practise as well as a link to the practitioners own page.

Chrissie Morgan joined the Your Talent roster as part of the county’s bid to become city of culture and had this to say about the benefits of membership:

I was invited to be listed on the ‘Culture Durham’ website some years ago under the Durham Talent section and have been extremely happy with the opportunity. As an independent artist, any help in raising my profile with local residents and visitors to our City has been very welcome. The website is clear, easy to use and inclusive. The site has been a proven route through which visitors have found their way to my small studio in Fowlers Yard (a hidden gem tucked away behind the Covered Market, comprising 9 artists and craftspeople, café, independent theatre and brewery).  I use the guide myself, to find out what is going on, so am assured that local people and visitors alike check out the information to visit and hopefully buy from featured shops, restaurants, studios and individuals.

If you would like to become a member of the Your Culture directory get in touch with us! We need your actual name, your name as you’d like it to be displayed, a description of your practise that’s up to 75 words long written in the third person and a small image suitable for adding as a thumbnail to your profile.
