Janet Rogers

Janet Rogers

Janet Rogers is a stained and fused glass artist living and working in Durham. She uses traditional craftsmen’s techniques. Her work has a contemporary feel, adding new life to old and new buildings by using vibrant, textured and iridescent art glass. All glass is individually designed and hand cut making the finished product a totally authentic piece of art. Since 2011 Janet has run the Crushed Chilli gallery in Durham city.

Jill Campbell

Jill is an artist working in the Teesdale area. She regularly exhibits in County Durham and is a member of the Teesdale Artists’ Network, taking part in their annual Open Studio scheme.

Her paintings portray a sense of the landscape as a living environment, nature in a constant state of change, the ebb and flow of life. 

 

John Foker

John Foker

Birds often feature prominently in John's painting. He works from direct observation and from visual memory. Members of the crow family are a favourite subject, particularly rooks and jackdaws. Gasometers are another subject of interest and inspiration. 

John Hall

John Hall

County Durham artist, John Hall prefers to paint with acrylics for the deep colours achieved. Sunsets are particularly evoking for him so feature in many of his works. He also has other themes including landscapes. He welcomes anyone to view his paintings.
