Alastair Lovett

As a printmaker who grew up on Teesside during the 1970s, Alastair's vision is anchored in that transitional period when the landscape was still littered with the remains of the region’s industrialized past. Running parallel to this is Alastair's interest in literary subjects and animals, which are central features of his wood engravings.
Angela Kennedy

Angela is a multi-disciplinary artist with a B.A.(Hons) degree in both Performance Art and Creative Practice (Fine Art). Her practice includes working site responsively through installation, text, performance, sound, the spoken word, movement, drawing, and video. She works with the under fives, primary schools, community groups, women’s groups, and as part of the freelance Learning Team for the BALTIC Centre of Contemporary Art.
Anne Mason

Living in a pine wood in central Teesdale between moor and river Anne cannot help but be inspired by the wildlife and landscape that surround her. She began to paint at an early age, mainly birds and other wildlife subjects and qualified as a Natural History Illustrator in 1988. The Natural History developed into an interest in landscape painting, particularly views of Teesdale, The Yorkshire Dales and The Lake District.
Anne exhibits her work regularly and opens her studio on selected weekends during the Summer as well as taking part in the Teesdale Artists' Network 'Open Studios'
Barrie Ormsby

Barrie has worked outside in the same patch of west Durham landscape for 25 years. He also works in the studio making drawings from music. He often uses the triangle to give his compositions a geometric structure. He is also a muralist, with commissioned public art work situated in Durham, Carlisle, Newcastle and Sunderland.
