Alastair Lovett
As a printmaker who grew up on Teesside during the 1970s, Alastair's vision is anchored in that transitional period when the landscape was still littered with the remains of the region’s industrialized past. Running parallel to this is Alastair's interest in literary subjects and animals, which are central features of his wood engravings.

Alison J Best
Alison is a contemporary artist of the natural world. She works on a commission basis for exhibitions and her work has featured in the regional media. Alison’s unique art form is akin to a contemporary version of Japanese Katazome Art. Each work comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
Alison has an exhibition coming up in May in collaboration with Hexham photographer / artist Iain Duncan. The exhibition entitled ICE: Beyond the Edge and features Alison's interpretations of some of Ian's photography. Check her website for more details.

Angela Kennedy
Angela is a multi-disciplinary artist with a B.A. (Hons) degree in both performance art and fine art. As well as painting she practices choreography, movement, dance, sculpture and installation. She also works with the under fives, primary schools, community groups, the BALTIC Centre of Contemporary Art and the University of Northumbria.

Anne Mason
Anne's work is inspired by bird sounds and her painting is meditative. She listens to the birds and when the shapes and patterns appear in her mind she records these impressions in watercolour. Some watercolours are developed in to large acrylics on canvas.

Barrie Ormsby
Barrie has worked outside in the same patch of west Durham landscape for 25 years. He also works in the studio making drawings from music. He often uses the triangle to give his compositions a geometric structure. He is also a muralist, with commissioned public art work situated in Durham, Carlisle, Newcastle and Sunderland.

Bearpark Artists Co-op
Bearpark Artists Co-op (established 1993) is an independent group of artists with a studio attached to Bearpark Community Centre. They have extensive experience of working in schools, healthcare and with community groups of all ages. Their own painting is the core of activities and they have exhibited throughout the North East. They also make original and replica banners, and murals.
