Terry Deary is the author of over 200 books for young people. His most popular series are the "Horrible Histories" (around 50 titles). Born in Sunderland, he now lives in North West Durham and is has also been an actor, theatre-director and museum manager. He also writes TV, theatre, radio audio and new media scripts.
