East Durham Artists Network

EDAN is a vibrant artist led organization which aims to raise the profile of the visual arts by returning art to the public realm.

The growth of the group has been phenomenal. Since its creation in October 2005, EDAN has been involved in a number of wide ranging creative initiatives, with regular exhibitions taking place throughout the North East of England. The Group first exhibited its work in 2005 at Dalton Park, Murton, and by 2008 was exhibiting in Gerlingen, Germany.

In October 2008 the group moved into ‘The Courtyard’ at Seaham, adding a new dimension to the group by creating a base to work from and providing better opportunities for it to become more involved with the community.
