About Us
Durham’s interim Cultural Partnership, culturedurham and this website grew out of the bid to be UK City of Culture in 2013.
The partnership comprises representatives from Durham County Council, County Durham Partnership, Visit County Durham, Durham University, Durham Cathedral, Durham City Vision and One North East.
At the moment the partnership, structures and delivery arrangements are being reviewed but all partners are committed to using culture as an aid to social and economic regeneration in the county.
